What Even Is a Crashout?
The Merriam-Webster definition of a crash out is described as a verb, an action. To crash out is “to become suddenly, uncontrollably angry or distressed.”
This happens because of the build-up. You bottle up annoyances, stress, anger, sadness, and irritation. All the funky stuff, because those are unpleasant things. Problem is, the cap on this bottle isn’t strong enough to hold it all. Eventually it will explode. What comes out of this explosion is the crash. The one driving that crash, is the Crashout; and so the verb transforms into a noun. A person.
A he, a her, a they or them. Perhaps you.
Definitely me.
We hide among society in plain sight. Here, the Crashouts crash outs will not be silenced.
They will be done editorially.

They say there are therapeutic benefits to labeling your emotions. It calms your brain in a way that allows you to experience the crash, without doing the actual crashing out. Leading to emotional recovery, and shifting reactive emotions into logical thoughts.
“Name it to tame it, feel it to heal it.” A phrase coined by Dr. Dan Siegel, a clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine.
The concept is that you put all your funky unpleasant feelings that would cause a crash, into precise words, allowing your emotions to move through your body in a controlled manner instead of suppressing them. The result is acceptance, control, and feeling grounded.
At least, that’s what they say. Here’s to testing theories.
Stick around. It’s going to get interesting.
